Sponsored by Tropical Fruit World, the Botanical Bazaar Gardening Expo will cover all aspects of urban gardening in this fully-interactive event. Whether you own a garden or not, this expo will definitely be an educational and inspiring experience. So, make sure not to miss out on it!
The Botanical Bazaar Gardening Expo takes place on Sunday, September 3 at the Country Paradise Parklands in Nerang from 9:00am-5:00pm. Tickets are priced between $5-$15.
SWELL Sculpture Festival 2017
The 15th edition of the SWELL Sculpture Festival is taking place on the Gold Coast in September. Come along and see amazing sculptures made by international, national and local artists. Apart from the sculptures, there will also be artist talks, yoga workshops, guided walks, amazing food and live entertainment. This festival definitely promises to be a lot of fun for anyone and everyone.
The SWELL Sculpture Festival runs from Friday, September 8 to Sunday, September 17 at Currumbin Beach and is free to attend.
Bump to Bub Expo
If you’re pregnant, have a new-born or toddler or you’re a young mother, then the Bump to Bub Expo is for you! You’ll find all types of pregnancy and new-born related products being showcased at this expo. There’ll also be a number of pregnancy services and organisations offering helpful advice. Apart from this, there’s a fashion parade, live entertainment and play areas to keep everyone entertained.
The Bump to Bub Expo is on Saturday and Sunday, the 9th and 10th of September at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre. Tickets are $10 each.
Griffith Opera on the Beach
If you love the theatre, then the Griffith Opera on the Beach is one event not to miss. This fantastic musical production features a huge star cast in glittering costumes, a wonderful orchestra and live fireworks. Definitely an event not to be missed!
Griffith Opera on the Beach runs from Thursday to Saturday, the 21st to 30th of September at Coolangatta Beach, 6:30pm onwards. C Reserve tickets are $35 while premium tickets are $90.
2017 Australian University Games
The 6th edition of the Australian University Games will be held on the Gold Coast this September. As Australia’s largest multisport event, this year’s games is expected to see over 8,000 participants from 42 Australian universities compete against each other to take home gold. There are 31 sporting events in all, including both team and individual events.
The 2017 Australian University Games kicks off on Sunday, September 24 and concludes on Friday, September 29. Events take place across various locations on the Gold Coast.
Ticket prices for participants range from $153-$183 while tickets for team managers and coaches are priced at $35. Tickets for team packages are priced at $425. The prices for tickets to the opening ceremony will soon be announced on the official Australian University Games website.
