Held annually (every second year on the Gold Coast), The Australian University Games are Australia’s largest annual multi-sport event. The games attract over 6000 participants, many of whom are Olympic standard. The program features more than 28 individual and team sports with individuals and universities, out to win gold. Events include Australian Rules football, Kendo, Ultimate Frisbee, and of course, everyone’s favourite spectator sports, running and swimming. It’s fun, friendly and always exciting.
To complement the Games, there’s a side program of social events that will keep the festival atmosphere alive for the entire week.
