If you’re visiting the Gold Coast with your family or with a group of friends, I highly recommend you visit some of the night markets in the area. These night markets feature the best of local arts, crafts, entertainment and food on the Gold Coast. Don’t worry – these markets are incredibly family friendly, so you can also take your kids along.

Miami Marketta

An arts precinct like no other on the Gold Coast, the Miami Marketta is always buzzing with atmosphere. This weekly Friday and Saturday night market features great food which is locally produced, coupled with diverse art and entertainment options. This market features a variety of different food stalls under a single roof. Take your family or your group of friends to this marketplace and you’re in for a great time!

NightQuarter

Gold Coast Night Markets Helensvale
NightQuarter

NightQuarter is a new entertainment and cultural precinct on the Gold Coast which is located next to the Helensvale train station. Like Miami Marketta, it held each Friday and Saturday and is an all-in-one night market, a music venue and “eat street”. Themed on the best international markets, NightQuarter features more than 120 different vendors and is widely considered to be the best entertainment and dining precinct in northern end of the Gold Coast. Have a great time sipping on beer, having quality food and enjoying with your family or friends at this night market.

NightQuarter is about a 25 minute drive from Surfers Paradise.

Surfers Paradise Beachfront Markets

The Beachfront Markets are held along the Surfers Paradise Esplanade every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday night. These markets feature crafts, arts, jewellery, handmade goods and delicious street food for you to enjoy. Perfect for an after dinner stroll, these night markets are the best place for grabbing a nifty bargain. These markets have something in store for everyone, so make sure not to miss out on them.

If you are planning a trip to the Gold Coast with your family, be sure to check out these great night markets. If you have booked accommodation in Surfers Paradise then you’ll be able to walk down to the Surfers Paradise Beachfront Markets although I highly recommend you visit either NightQuarter or Marktta (each are similar to each other)  but certainly worth the trip.
