Christmas in Paradise, December 13 -25
Christmas in Paradise is a great family friendly festival that celebrates the spirit of Christmas over 12 days. Featuring daily street entertainment, you’ll witness surfing Santa, carols on the Beach and magnificent Christmas lights at this festival. Last year’s festival saw 30,000 attendees and this year is set to be no different. This is my pick of the week!
Christmas in Paradise is a 12-day event that will start from Tuesday, December 13 in Surfers Paradise and is a free event.
Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, December 14
With Christmas Day just around the corner, there is no better way to get into the Christmas spirit than at the ‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas’ carols. Sing along to your favourite carols with top local artists including Silvie Paladino.
Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas will be held on Wednesday, December 14 at the Arts Centre Gold Coast in Surfers Paradise. The event starts at 11:00am and a ticket will cost you $29.50.
Bundall Bazaar, December 16
Bundall Bazaar is a local market that presents an eclectic mix of arts, food and music. Expect to see many local musicians, designers, creatives and of course, plenty of food trucks and food stalls. Grab a drink, get some great food and soak up the music at these markets.
Bundall Bazaar will take place on Friday, December 16 at the Hellenic Function Centre in Bundall from 4:00pm-9:00pm.
Cuisine on the Green, December 17
Cuisine on the Green features delicious street food from around the world. With 21 signature dishes offered by over 21 international street food vendors, I highly recommend you add these markets to your holiday itinerary. There will be live musical performances and face painting and a jumping castle for kids.
This event will be held on Saturday, December 17 at the Surfers Paradise Golf Club from 5:00pm-9:00pm.
