Since its inception in 2002, the Blues on Broadbeach Music Festival has attracted over 400,000 spectators. It’s a showcase of fine blues bands and artists from Australia and internationally, and incredibly, it’s all free. This year over 40 bands and artists will entertain crowds at stages in Broadbeach Mall, Surf Parade and Victoria Park. With its relaxed, village-like atmosphere it’s a truly unique setting for all things blues. Wander between stages and soak up the ambience or don your dancing shoes. Artists this year will include veteran US bluesmen Doc Span, Wiley Reed and Austin “Walkin’ Cane”.
